Design & Comfort

The Philips Audio Fidelio X2HR is designed for hi-resolution audio. Best for acoustical music enthusiasts to produce high-quality music. This open-back architecture eliminates air pressure build-up behind the driver to allow the diaphragm ample free movement, greatly enhancing sound transparency and smoothening extended high frequencies.

The Build Quality

The perfect build quality for a mid-range budget. I didn’t find any better alternatives for this budget, the price at $150. Build quality ensured by the Japan Audio Society. 50 mm high definition neodymium drivers magnet with LMC diaphragm and must produce a bandwidth of 40 kHz for outer.

The build quality - magnet test

As you can see the magnetic structure is very strong to produce high-quality sound. Very sturdy and well build. The 50 mm high power neodymium magnets reproduce all your music’s dynamics and deliver well-balanced deep bass, transparent midrange, and pristine high frequencies without a DAC or Amp. That’s the great thing to buy these pair of headphones would be much better than Sony or Bose headphones.

The verdict:

Should I buy Fidelio X2HR headphones? A must well-built headphones for listening, producing, mixing & mastering headphones. It would be worth getting in this price range for Best Acoustic Headphones for the money.

If you want to bargain for the price then must look for their SHP9500 headphones with the deep bass sound, that price is affordable than it!

Make shopping with confidence with the best & most trusted audio equipment brand, don’t buy any other brand headphones in this budget.

Hope now you can able to take the decision which headphones would be best for you today.

Do you use Philips headphones already? What’s your experience with? please let us know. In my case It’s Pure!

  2. King of common sense

These are definitely amongst my favorite headphones . I own these Sony MDR 7506 , AKG k 361 , SHP 9500 , DT 770 . I just love the open and airy sound these produce . Not as detailed as say the AKG ‘s but to me have better imaging and soundstage and don’t sound muffled at all. Also build quality is good for the price . Not a big fan of the pads though , they tend to collect debris real easy . At the current price of $150 , easy no brainer .

+ PROS: Sound , build ,comfort , price
    - CONS: Ear pads get very dirty
