JBL Tune 750 BTNC Review: A Budget-Friendly Active Noise Canceling Bluetooth Headphones
The JBL Tune 750 BTNC is an affordable wireless Bluetooth headphone with active noise canceling feature, which isn’t outstanding but overall worth the money.
JBL Tune 750 BTNC Review
Let’s see the detailed review of JBL Tune 750 BTNC Wireless Bluetooth Headphones.
Design & Comfort
The design of the JBL Tune 750 BTNC is gorgeous, stylish, and authentic. I purchase the Blue version of these new headphones from the online store. You can consider any of your choices from Black, Blue, and White versions.
This over-ear JBL headset offers maximum comfort, lightweight design, and foldable headband for easy movement while you traveling. JBL Tune 750 BTNC comes in various colors such as Black, Blue, White, and Coral for your style and preferences. Overall, I like the design part of the headphones, but what about sound quality? Let’s look below.
Before buying it, I never thought I could get such good sound quality headphones for only 130 bucks. The quality of JBL Tune 750 BTNC sound with active noise cancellation Turned ON is amazing. They provide neutral sound with sophisticated bass and an overall balanced sound. However, without ANC ON, the volume of sound is limited, and overall V-shaped sound is in almost all types of music genres.
This doesn’t mean that their active noise cancellation is great! I’ll talk more about it in the noise cancellation section of this review. Now, let’s talk a bit more about SOUND!
The strongest part of this headset is BASS, a phenomenal deep bass response in record lower volume soundstage. I listen to almost 20 different pairs of budget-friendly headphones till today, but no pair is compared to JBL Tune 750 BTNC wireless Bluetooth headphones.
The High frequency (treble) is optimized or isolates certain frequencies or either boosts them and for that, I feel sounds muffled and boring, and sometimes even they’re not synced well with the music. Which is a very unlucky thing. I listen mainly to Electronics, Dubstep, DJ Remixes, and Classical and Folk songs on Soundcloud, Spotify, and YouTube music/ and watch videos. And Mid-frequency provides to be neutral and accurate to sound good to most people.
I found this headphone is not for DJing purposes such as mixing or mastering, It is great for casual music listening with limited volume sound and managing your calls and trigger voice assistants from your headphones. Remember there is any dedicated voice assistant button on the headset earcups.

These headphones are quite similar to the JBL Live 650 BTNC, which is the new model and has relatively better sound and better noise cancellation than JBL Tune 750 BTNC. Also, they’re still available to buy new pairs in different stores.
The worst part of this headphone is active noise cancellation. The first time when I was walking in a public place and wanted to keep it in my ear and tap power ON to listen to some cool music from Spotify, then I can’t continue for a single minute! Because when I pull the leg it makes white noise from the right side earcup, and it’s very annoying.
Then, I decided to use these headphones for work from home, and it is worth looking at because they are comfortable to wear for long periods and perfect for listening to music while working with active noise cancellation. It supports multi-point Bluetooth connections that allow connecting to both PC and mobile devices at the same time. Its noise cancellation quality is not perfect but overall, I am satisfied with these headsets under the $100 budget.
Microphone & Call-Quality
Build Quality & Durability
The JBL Tune 750BTNC headphones can last 12 hours of playback time. Also, after charging the battery for only 5 minutes, it lasts for 2 hours. Allowing connection with two Bluetooth devices simultaneously, the multipoint connection makes sure you won’t miss a call on your phone while streaming videos on your tablet.
You can easily control your sound, manage your calls, and trigger Siri or Google voice assistants from your headphones with the buttons on your right earcups.
It’s made entirely of plastic, which didn’t seem bad to me for durability and comfort. However, memory foam earcups are not good as expected and it is tearing up because made with thin synthetic leather which no one likes to replace earpads every 6 months apart (If you’re changing your current headset earcups, I recommend choosing pure leather earpads for solid comfort and durability).
Features & Controls
- Lightweight and foldable design headset
- Active noise cancellation
- JBL pure bass sound
- Hands-free calls and voice assistant supports
- 15 hours of average battery backup
- Multi-point connection
Charging & Battery Life
You can charge your JBL Tune 750 BTNC headset via the Micro-USB cable that is included with the box. For a single full charge, you can listen up to 12 hours with active noise cancellation ON, and without ANC I don’t listen full time till today. But I think it should be up to 15 hours.

The JBL Tune series headphones are designed for listening to music with extremely satisfying bass and long wireless freedom. And the best thing is BUDGET, no other headphone brands can’t provide a rock-solid sound for this affordable budget as JBL offers.
Overall, JBL Tune 750 BTNC wireless Bluetooth active noise cancellation headphone is not good for traveling. Because the noise cancellation isn’t great and I listen to white noise when I walk. However, they have a balanced soundstage which provides neutral listening and accurate bass response.
